Course of Study :Bachelor of Arts – B.A. I (Total Seats 180)
Compulsory Subjects: 1. Hindi/Sanskrit 2. English 3. Environmental Studies 4. Basics of Computer (Qualifying Paper)
Any two of the following subjects are to be opted from Group I to Group V :

Hindi	Mathematics	Political Science	Home Science	Psychology
Sanskrit	Public Admn.	Fine Arts	Philosophy	History
Punabi	Sociology, Music (Vocal)health & Physical Education		Economics	AIH Culture & Archeology

Note :  Every candidate must offer Hindi either as a compulsory subject or as an elective subject. Provided that no candidate shall be allowed to offer Hindi both as compulsory and elective subjects.
A student can opt for only one subject from the above mentioned combinations. However, he is adivsed to consult the admission committee about the combination of subjects. A particular subject may not be started if the number of candidates opting for the same falls short of the minimum required number.
Subjects taken in Sem. I will remain the same for Semester II, III, IV, V & VI
Eligibility conditions for admission to B.A. Semester I (i) A candidate is eligible to join B.A.I if he/she has passed 10+2 examination with English as one of the subjects from Board of School Education, Haryana or any other examination recognized by the Academic Council, Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra as equivalent thereto and has obtained in aggregate at least 33% marks.
